BUSC CLUB INFO

The Ballistic United Soccer Club was established in 1968 to support the youth of Pleasanton, California and its surrounding un-incorporated areas. Today, BUSC with its counter part, the Pleasanton Rage are the affiliated branches of the Pleasanton Youth Soccer League.

P.Y.S.L. is recognized and complies with the authority of the California Youth Soccer Association-North (CYSA-N). CYSA-North is a state association in Region IV of the United States Youth Soccer Association. USYSA is a member of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) , and its world wide sanctioning body FIFA.

Ballistic United players support players in many of Northern California’s best playing leagues and compete at many levels.

The first is Division I, where competitive teams selected through the placement process may play in a CYSA State Playing League, US Soccer Super Y, the Golden State Soccer League or in CYSA District 3’s Al Caffodio Leagues. Most Division 1 teams travel to tournaments as US Club Soccer, USSF affiliated teams, and play for North California State Cup under the CYSA affiliation.

Division 3
teams are also selected through a placement process and generally play in the CYSA District 3’s, Al Caffodio League. Most Division 3 teams attend local Tournaments, and compete in State level play in Northern California’s, CYSA’s State Associations Cup. BUSC continues to build skill levels at the younger age groups, and offer special programs to build skill levels, utilizing qualified trainers. These teams travel to Nor Cal tournaments.

Division 4
teams are formed by the player’s local school area. No placements are required. All Division 4 BUSC teams play in the BUSC House Recreational leagues. There is a place to play for everyone.

From only seven teams in 1968, BUSC has grown to over 154 teams and 2,100 registered players in 2001. As our community and club continues to grow, more volunteers are needed each year. Please become involved in your community and become a BUSC volunteer.
