House Teams
Ballistic United fields an outstanding
Division IV program. Ballistic House teams
are composed of players who wish to play
at a pure recreational level. Ballistic
House teams play intra-league except for
the U16 and U19 teams who play within the
CYSA District III House playing league.
For U10 to U14 age groups, Division IV teams
are divided into Divisions based mostly
on last years rating, years of soccer
experience and area of school attendance.
There are no tryouts for Division IV teams.
House coaches are a primarily parent volunteers.
The coaches, players and their parents are
dedicated to the development of good soccer
technique and tactics, good sportsmanship,
work, meeting new people and expanding their
soccer experience.
Season
For U10 through U14 teams, training starts
in August. During the school year training
sessions are usually held 1-2 days per week.
League play starts in September with one
game per week through late November. There
are a small number of tournaments for U12
and U14 Division IV teams in September and
October, though most Ballistic Division IV
teams do not participate. There is a District
III Crossroads Tournament for the leading
House team in each age group from each District
III club during November or December. The
playing season ends with the Tide Cup tournament,
which starts in November and extends to
December for the U12 and U14 age groups.
For U16 through U19 teams, training starts
in August. During the school year training
sessions are usually held 1-2 days per week.
District III House league fall season starts
in September with one to two games per week
through late October. There are a small
number of tournaments for U16 and U19 Division
IV teams in September and October. The playing
season ends with the Tide Cup tournament,

Coaching and Training
House coaches are recruited and selected
by the Ballistic Age Group Coordinators
from parent volunteers. Volunteering to
coach offers a rewarding opportunity to
work with children and build their individual
and team playing skills. Ballistic provides
training for Division IV coaches. Additional
training is available through CYSA coaching
courses and expenses for attending these
courses is reimbursed by BUSC if the coach
stays with the team for the season. The
BUSC Club Training Program provides training
for Division IV teams. Details are available
at the annual Coaches Meeting held in July
prior to the start of the Division IV training
season in August.
